YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow-done practice which targets the deep connective tissues of the body and the fascia that covers the body. Yin helps to regulate the flow of energy in the body through the meridian lines used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The postures (Asanas) are held for three to five minutes to offer a much deeper access to the body and to cultivate a meditative mind.

HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is a practice to cultivate stability and calmness of the body and the mind by using postures (Asana), breathing techniques (Pranayama) and meditation. Longer holds help us to still the fluctuations of the mind, to bring our awareness more inside and to be more present in the unfolding of each moment.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you to flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale. The literal translation of vinyasa from Sanskrit is "connection". In terms of yoga asana, we can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath.
